Light wind? No problem. The Trace has a progressive straight, square outline and large surface area for early planing and upwind performance in the lightest winds. A centre-V spine and longitudinal quad channels provide balanced torsional stiffness, superb traction, and more control. The progressive medium-low rocker is ideal for flatwater. It also enables phenomenal pop for light wind tricks and transitions and surprising manoeuvrability for its size. Pair the Trace with our Reach 13-19m to maximise your ride time in the lightest of winds, or the larger Orbits for training airstyle.

Tech Features

New Biaxial Hybrid Carbon construction
 We’ve orientated the e-glass and 3DY unidirectional carbon tapes in the laminate layup to optimise the loading of the individual fibres, resulting in a unique construction method with superior performance. The 3DY Carbon Technology. contributes to the board’s lively feel, lower weight and pop.

Early planing and super upwind
 The board’s larger surface area helps you build up resistance against the kite for greater forward momentum.

New larger integrated grab rail
 A deeper rail is structurally integrated into the deck shape to provide easy grip for board-offs. The Grab-it rail can be used as an accessory with this deeper grab rail.

Dynamic Flex
 Board specific laminate layups then allow us to further fine tune the flex and board characteristics. We adjust the stiffness lengthwise and torsionally in conjunction with the rocker line, plan shape view and profile of the board, to give each board its specific performance characteristics.

Pop for lightwind tricks
 The progressive medium-low rocker line is ideal for flatwater and creates a board with phenomenal pop that is surprisingly manoeuvrable and easy to turn despite its size.

Centre-V and quad channels
 The quad concave channels with V-spine provide added stiffness, helping deflect the water for less resistance across the board’s surface, better upwind traction and high-speed control.

Lightweight, impact-resistant core
 Ultra-lightweight, with a high shear force and high impact resistance, Paulownia wood forms a non-toxic core which significantly displaces the amount of foam or resin used in manufacturing, thereby reducing carbon emissions. Each board has a customised core thickness individually fine-tuned to ensure its characteristics are consistent throughout the range, no matter your size or weight.

40mm Fins included
 Fins are a tuning device. A board with a straight outline like the Trace wants to track straight all on its own. With this shape of board you can put a smaller fin on it to reduce drag in lighter wind, and give you the ability to push it around a bit more. The Trace is supplied with 40mm Fins.

FlipTech Mounting
 Features FlipTech Mounting System, with centreline inserts, so when you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around for a shiny new heelside rail.

Pair with Flex / Flex Pro Bindings
 Soft cushioning with grip when wet. Featuring seamless KnitFlex inners and triple-density GripFlex footbeds, with size and stance adjustments for a locked-in feel and dependable support.

Standardised M6 Stainless hardware
 Standardised SS316 M6x16mm hardware across all twin tip boards and accessories enables the use of the same PH3 screwdriver for assembly and makes replacement of parts super easy.
